Suburban Parks Program - Wattle Park - Design and Consulting Agreement

Parks Victoria (PV) seeks tenders for design and consulting services for the development of a playscape and a ‘tan-style’ walking/running trail at Wattle Park in Burwood.

PV requires the services of a suitably qualified, capable and experienced Lead Consultant with a consultant team to undertake concept planning and produce fully documented and certified design documentation for a new playscape and a ‘tan style’ walking and running trail at Wattle Park. Identification and management of statutory approvals including but not limited to Heritage permit application will also be required.

The project objectives for the Wattle Park upgrades are to establish:

• a tan-style walking/running trail of up to 3.5 km in length,

• a universally designed playscape which reflects the cultural and natural values of the park, and

• basic supporting infrastructure such as drinking taps, seating, picnic facilities, access trails and signage.

This tender is for the design and development of the trail along with the identification and management of the statutory approvals required. Key resources we will require are including but not limited to the following:

- Civil Engineering

- Geotechnical Engineering

- Town Planning - land use and statutory approvals management

- Environmental management

- Cultural Heritage Management

- Playscape Design

- Landscape Architecture

- Land surveying incl. feature and level survey.
