Independent audit and analysis of Government and Government funded services to Mornington Island

Queensland Health is seeking to engage a Supplier with the appropriate technical expertise and subject matter knowledge to undertake an audit and analysis of Government and Government funded services to Mornington Island – a whole of government initiative led by Queensland Health in partnership with Mornington Shire Council and the Department of Seniors, Disability Services and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships.

The Project parameters include: a review of current Local, State and Commonwealth government services and government funded services to Mornington Island, and the development of a tool or Service Audit Template in partnership with the Mornington Shire Council and blueprint for government to work with First Nations communities through a co-designed approach.

The analysis will include non-government organisations that receive government funding to deliver services and programs to Mornington Island.

The aim of the project is to increase transparency of current investment and delivery of government and government funded services delivered to the remote and discrete First Nations community of Mornington Island located in the lower Gulf regiona of North Queensland
