Domestic and Family Violence Support Services 2018-2020: Practice Standards and/or guidance Development Project

The department is seeking a supplier for the development of evidence-based, contemporary practice standards or guidance, for the domestic and family violence sector.

The objectives of the project are to review existing practice standards and guides, undertake detailed analysis of current research and evidence, consult with key stakeholders and provide advice to the Department about the best approach/mechanism to ensure the delivery of contemporary, evidence based, high quality service delivery across Queensland.

The products provided at the end of this project need to be contemporary, written in plain English and align with relevant projects, frameworks, standards and indicators such as:
• the National Outcome Standards for Perpetrator Interventions;
• the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010-2022;
• findings from the Building a Stronger Domestic and Family Violence Service System Project;
• the National Standards for Telephone Services;
• the Human Services Quality Framework (HSQF);
• the practice framework for the High Risk Teams;
• specialist courts trials;
• the Common Risk Assessment Framework.
