Description

Kooljaman at Cape Leveque is a multi-award winning Aboriginal owned accommodation facility located 220km north of Broome on the northern tip of the Dampier Peninsula. The property is jointly owned by the Djarindjin and Ardyaloon communities and managed by a Board comprising members of both communities.

The sealing of the entire Cape Leveque Road is expected to be completed by November 2020. The sealed road will open up the Peninsula to new markets such as day trippers and two wheel drive vehicles. It is also likely to increase the number of caravanners and extend the length of the tourist season.

Tourism WA, in collaboration with Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) and the Board of Kooljaman, is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced team of consultants to;

  • Undertake a review of the current Kooljaman Business/Operational Model;
  • Develop a Masterplan/Feasibility Study for the redevelopment of Kooljaman; and
  • Produce an associated Business Case suitable to support a submission for Commonwealth/State/Private sector investment
