Services of a Senior Network Consultant

Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP) Health Support Services (HSS) is delivering the Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP), one of the largest technology transformation programs undertaken within WA Health. CHIIP is responsible for modernising network and infrastructure services across more than 460 metropolitan, regional and remote health sites, providing a secure, resilient and scalable foundation for the future delivery of digital health services. The Program supports: Replacement of end-of-life network and infrastructure assets.Uplift of cyber security capabilities and reduction of technology risk.Improved reliability and availability of critical health services.Enablement of strategic digital health initiatives, including Electronic Medical Record Program (EMR).Remediation of infrastructure and security control findings identified through audit and compliance activities.Transition to contemporary managed infrastructure and support services. The Program requires a Senior Network Consultant who will play a key role in supporting WA Health's network and telecommunications services, ensuring infrastructure solutions align with business requirements, technology standards and operational objectives. Working closely with Health Service Providers (HSPs), managed service providers, vendors and technical stakeholders, this role will provide specialist network consultancy services, technical guidance and stakeholder engagement to support the delivery, optimisation and governance of network and telephony services across the WA Health System.
