Description
Advice regarding Government financial accounting treatment associated with a proposed commercial structure to redevelop the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Treasury requires advice on the Government financial accounting treatment associated with: Availability charge for the 25-year term of the PCEC JV contract (refer Attachment 1, 2 and 3);Alternative commercial structure involving a ground lease (with Asset Co) and event management (Event Co) (refer Attachment 4); and Possible alternative contractual arrangements that would reduce the impact on the State?s balance sheet (and net debt) relative to the above proposals
