A project to be undertaken

The service provider will deliver the following outputs to support the Strategic Assessment of forestry operations in NSW RFA regions: Recovery Context Report and Recovery Scenario An evidence-based assessment of the recovery context for Matters of National Environmental Significance (MNES) over 20-year and 100-year timeframes.A future recovery scenario considering climate change, fire, fragmentation, invasive species and other threats. Literature Reviews and Baseline Sheets for Priority MNES Literature reviews for threatened species, threatened ecological communities, listed migratory species and potentially newly listed species.Baseline information on habitat requirements, threats, population trends, recovery needs and responses to forestry activities. Impact Pathway Conceptual Models Four conceptual models covering public native forestry, private native forestry, softwood plantations and hardwood plantations.Documentation of direct, indirect and cumulative impacts, supported by assumptions, uncertainty and confidence assessments. MNES Screening and Impact Assessments Screening rationale for selected MNES.Impact assessments for selected MNES, including aquatic threatened species and ecological communities. Response to Feedback Analysis and responses to feedback from the community, NSW Government agencies and the Australian Government, including documentation of issues, actions and supporting evidence.
