Provision of a Tax Design Advisory Panel

The services required by Treasury will broadly include advice on the following:

• the formulation and design of options to address specific taxation and superannuation policy issues;
• the design of legislation to implement Government decisions;
• how policy options would work in practice, interactions with other areas of the tax laws; the design of legislation, (including impacts on taxpayers), business and industry, and costs of compliance; and
• where required, economic modelling and/or quantitative analysis of aspects of the taxation and superannuation systems.
